STATUS: Planning Obtained 2009

DESCRIPTION: A 250 bedroom hotel, 10 storey hotel for an angular site adjacent to the Ocean Terminal shopping centre and Ocean Point office.

Gilberts obtained Planning Consent (subject to conclusion of legal agreements) for this hotel building in 2009. The design strives to simultaneously respond to the immediate context of Ocean Point 1 and the emerging masterplan for the area while forging its own strong visual identity.
