DESCRIPTION: Extension of existing farm house.
This small residential extension creates a sunny living space in a farm house just across the border in Northumberland. Clad in horizontal timber boarding with a natural slate roof, the new structure is designed to complement the traditional stone-built existing house, opening-up a previously blank gable wall and providing views over the open farm land to the south west.
Access to the garden is via French doors on the west gable, which also features high level triangular windows either side of a wood burning stove.
