Kelvin Donaldson

Director / Architect

Kelvin was raised in Dumfries but has lived in Edinburgh since coming to university in 1978. He now splits his time between Edinburgh & Aviemore, for business & leisure purposes.

He qualified from Heriot Watt University (Edinburgh College of Art) in 1984 specialising in Urban Design. His work experience developed from common repairs and commercial development in the 80s until he formed Gilberts (then Gilbert Associates) with George in 1992.

His specialisms are residential architecture in general & design for dementia & elderly in particular.

A passionate cyclist, he also continues to enjoy (although not excel at) 5-a-side football, skiing & running. He remains enthusiastic about his profession & plans to continue to practise architecture for many years to come.
